Hi there. I was wondering if you remember how the English subtitles were for this DVD Set.
I have heard the subtitles for the Hong Kong version weren't so great, but I wasn't sure about the Malaysian version.
I know the subs won't be as good as a Region 1 or Korean release, but hopefully it's somewhat comprehensible. It's too bad the Korean release didn't get released with Eng subs.
Thanks in advance for your answer and your time.
Thanks for the comment.
I haven't seen the DVD yet, but I did get a chance to scan through the first DVD. English subtitle is not perfect as I do see mis-spelling here and there. As for the translation, I have no comment since I don't know if it's correct or not. I have seen some HK version and I would say the Malaysian is better, but not as good as the Korean/US version. I hope that helps.
Dear MinMayBee,
Would you be willing to comment on the picture quality of this set? Does it have a small window that one can see the video? Or is it standard full screen?
Thank you for your time,

It has black bar on the top and bottom, therefore, it is not the standard full screen that covers the whole screen. I hope that answer your question.
My final question, do you you regret buying this edition of "Dalja's Spring?" Thank you for your previous response. :)

P.S. In other words, would you recommend it for someone who is not a speaker of Korean or Chinese (Mandarin)?
It's hard for me to make recommendation when I have not seen the drama yet. In term of picture quality, it is average so so. I guess it's considered DVD quality. Sorry.
No, thank you so much for your time. Just stumbling across your blog makes me feel a bit better about my collection. ;)
